Strife is neurotic

Due to Strife being neurotic and injuring himself, I've been forced to look for his girlfriend instead of doing what I presume I was sent here to do (clean up and make good publicity for Shin-Ra, Inc.) How irritating. And the only clue he gave me was that she's dressed in oriental clothing who wears traditional clothing these days, anyway?

The only thing that could make this situation more irritating would be if I were to run into Lucy. I lost sight of her after the explosions. Maybe there is some higher power and she was caught in them.

I'm sure the various religious groups will be very disappointed when they find out you're the higher power. If a simple man like me can block your strongest attacks...

You made repeated attempts. Am I to assume that you were foolish enough to use the same strength again when it clearly didn't work the first time?

Or like the rest of humanity, you completely underestimated me.

I'm not an idiot. I'm not going to try and use my strongest power when i'm not in the best condition. That would be a waste.

So you're not in your best condition? Well, that's good to know. It's nice to have a worthy rival now. All of these SOLDIER fools that Shin-Ra keep employing, they're nothing compared to me. But you're different... you're worthy of being my opponent.

I'm not afraid of you, Lucy. You've given me nothing worth fearing. You might be more worthy than the rest of SOLDIER, but you're hardly on my level, not really.
